How we source specs
Torque specs, fluid capacities and part numbers come from factory documentation whenever we can get it, like BMW TIS, Porsche workshop manuals and Porsche technical bulletins. We cite sources on the page where we can. If a figure only shows up on forums, we leave it out or label it unconfirmed.
How we check prices
Buying guides say when prices were checked. We use recent sold results and current listings from sites like Bring a Trailer, classic.com and CarGurus. Prices move, so use ours as a starting point and check current listings before you buy.
How we pick cars and parts
We pick what we’d buy or use ourselves, then check whether a link pays. A commission never changes a spec, a price or a pick. More in our affiliate disclosure.
How we use AI tools
We use AI tools to help with research and editing because we love cars and aren’t the best spellers.
